The Humanity of NIMHNicodemus drew a long, shuddering breath. The memories he was about to recall were all too clear to him. They stood out, pale in his remembrance; sharp and painful as an ever twisting knife. "My story begins in the market place," he began slowly, the pain of reliving this clearly etched on his old scarred face. "We were the lowest of humanity, not a penny to our names and no home to go to. We would congregate around the garbage bins in the back alleys to the market place, there we would pick through the trash for something to eat. Then came the day we were captured. Trapped like vermin we were all pushed into the back of vans. &nbThe Humanity of NIMH

untitledFrom the outside, looking in, I'm sure everything looks just fine. My silence taken for normality, such a good girl, you always spoke for me.untitled
Should I have to work so hard, for you attention? Do I have to be in tears, for you to see me? Do you fully understand by doing nothing, all it is you've done?
Don't look away. Because I'm not looking at you. Talk to me. Even if it looks like i don't want to talk. I've grown so tired of doing everything myself, I want you to make a move. Am I being selfish?
I understand you ha
